Mayur Narvekar aka Bandish Projekt aka Mosillator, is a culmination of an outfit plucked from the deepest and darkest depths of Neurofunk. He is known for consistently pushing the boundaries through his creative and neoteric approach to Drum & Bass music.
With a career spanning over two decades, Mayur is one of the most important artists of electronic music in India. From delivering soul-soothing music full of Indian folk elements as Bandish Projekt to switching it up with complex rhythms and hard-edged elements of Mosillator, he has donned many roles.
But as a Drum & Bass producer and DJ, Mayur has been at the forefront of the scene for more than a decade. As a producer, Mosillator’s refined and gritty sounds have taken his music to labels like Critical Music, Outtalectuals, and Generation Bass, while his high-energy approach to his DJ sets has seen him DJ at the finest venues in the country.
After having his music championed by Kasra in 2016, the Mumbai based producer has released some stunning music over the years, and for his latest adventure, Mosillator is back with a 4 track EP, called ‘Fog’, which is packed with his signature steamrolling sounds, of which we are stoked to premiere ‘Shreik’.
Brimming with heavy and punchy bass stabs, ‘Shreik’ is a snappy and aggressive roller that builds tentatively, before launching a full-frontal bass assault with an imposing drop which leaves a lasting impact.
